The largest sea animal is the blue
whale. The blue whale is also the
world's largest animal. In fact the
blue whale is likely the largest
animal that ever lived on earth,
exceeding the size of the largest
known dinosaurs. Blue whales
can grow to over 100 feet, and
weigh over 150 tons. The stunning

The largest fish is the whale shark at 15 - 18 m (50-60 ft.) in length, and weighing over 10 tons.
The largest freshwater fish is the white sturgeon, with specimens recorded in excess of 600 pounds.
Giant squid are the largest cephalopod (octopus, cuttlefish, squid) and the largest mollusk.
The largest recorded giant squid was 59 feet long. The average size of the giant squid is 20 to 43
feet long, and between 110 and 660 pounds.
