Great BLUE MARBLE - About Us
Great Blue Marble was officially launched on September 1st, 2000. We created Great Blue Marble to teach
kids the joy of learning, and to give families a place on the Internet where they can safely enjoy visiting.

Great Blue Marble was developed to help foster positive, and meaningful values to the world via the
Internet. We believe the Internet requires more kindness and love. We also believe that an appreciation
and understanding of animals and nature is a positive way to enhance global harmony.
The Calgary area has an abundance of wildlife. Great Blue Marble is located in Calgary Canada.
  Calgary is one of Canada's largest city,
and is located at the Foothills of the
Canadian Rockies. Calgary hosted the
1988 Olympic Winter Games. 		Great Blue Marble is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada..
The Calgary area has an abundance of wildlife. The Calgary area has abundant wildlife including bears, deer,
elk, eagles, beavers, and coyotes. Calgary also has one of the
largest and most respected zoos in the world. The abundant local
wildlife and the Calgary Zoo were part of our inspiration for
creating Great Blue Marble. You may visit the Calgary Zoo from the
World Zoos Page. 		The Calgary area has an abundance of wildlife.
Great Blue Marble has hundreds of animations at our web site. Although animated gifs are slow to
download we felt it is worth the wait so that the animal kingdom, and nature would be more realistic
and meaningful to kids. Great Blue Marble has received many kind comments. We appreciate your
