Think of it this way, if your feed dealer didn’t care about the nutrition of their feed, you most likely wouldn’t feed that feed to your horses or cows, even if it was the cheapest feed available, meaning that they would lose customers and business – not something that the average company is looking to do in today’s market.  And pet food manufacturer or livestock feed manufacturer is concerned with nutrition and the healthy value of their feeds, and for that reason, it is a good idea to buy from long established companies with a history of making sure that their feeds are healthy for animals and not in the slightest bit harmful.  These companies have you and your animal’s best interests at heart, and they act upon those interests.
